KillerGuitarRigs is the guitar magazine for everyone else.
Established in the wilds of 2020, founder Brian Kelleher designed KGR to fill the gap between blockbuster guitarists and cork-sniffing blues, to represent all of the modern metal, punk, hardcore, and other guitarists that barely get a mention in mainstream guitar magazines but form the bedrock of the modern guitar scene.
Since then, we’ve reached millions of viewers (sometimes in the same month), sponsored major music festivals (such as TheFest in Gainesville), and broken dozens of news stories, all while reviewing and recommending the best gear, the best tips, the best music theory and more to our audience.
In 2023, we moved into our new studio in Winter Park Florida, where we started filming the bedrock of our KillerGuitarAcademy online guitar school, as well as YouTube videos, guitar playthroughs, and more.
Brands we’ve partnered with include Universal Audio, PRS, Supro, Sweetwater, Boss, Focusrite, D’Angelico, Marshall, Neural DSP and more.
From here, the only way is up.
